Smoke from the fires are everywhere you look, so be careful doing outside activites, it is hard to breathe out there, I walked to get some exercise today and to test my leg, well I went about 20 mins before I started to get pains shooting down my back, can't give up, will try again tommorrow.

Another RESTAURANT Closing

This Place will be closing in two days, due to the fact that the high cost of supplies is killing them.
They have been around for 21 months and it is really a good place to eat, I enjoy it alot.

It is with heavy hearts and much reluctance that, unless a miracle occurs, Booyah Greenback Grille will be closing its doors Thursday afternoon June 26, 2008. We will be open for lunch and dinner Wednesday June 25th, and open for lunch only on Thursday June 26th. As it is with many small restaurants, the rising costs of food and fuel, and the general economy that is affecting everyone.

Please if you have time, stop by and see for yourself that it is worth helpjng keep this place around.

Booyah Greenback Grille is located at 8055 Greenback Lane, Citrus Heights, CA 95610 in the Greenback Square shopping center. Its about one block east of Sunrise Mall, just behind Wasabi and right next door to Elliott's Natural Foods. Look for us and drop in anytime (preferably during business hours).

Just when you thought you have seen it all..

Ok today was my day off, I only have 4 days left of work and then I am out until I am 100% released from my Doctor to go back to work, whole different story...(#@#@#@)

So I am out with my youngest son (picture below)


So we decided to go to Mcdonalds, the NEw SWEET TEA is DABOMB!!! and for $1.00 for a limited time you really can't beat it.


We are walking and hit the crosswalk button and it is our turn to walk and we are in the CROSSWALK and cars are in such a hurry they are dodging around us and one car could not wait for us to get out of the crosswalk so he almost hits me. so here are the pictures of the cars, the DRIVERS should know it is against the law to go when there are people in the crosswalk regardless of which side of the crosswalk they are on and the POLICE need to enforce this so people will stop hitting people that are in the crosswalks.


Now we are on the street we live off of and they are doing constuction, they are putting in new sidewalks and at the school they are putting in a new parking lot. There is a truck spraying water(well I hope it is water) to keep the dirt moist and he sees us and we look at him(there is a fence between us and him) and the spraying stops (well we think it does) and the minute we get near the truck we get sprayed with water(I hope it is water) the driver did not even care that he could have gotten a person killed if they would have jumped into oncoming traffic, sometimes I think I should not walk utside my front door.

On the good side we made it home without a scratch and my keep me happy tshirt is a HIT

The Florida State Police issued the Amber Alert after the boy reportedly abducted in Miami Friday morning.

Torrey Hobbs black male, 12 years old, 5' 4" with black hair and black eyes and weighing 85 pounds. He has 2 upper front chipped teeth and a scar on his chest. He was last seen wearing blue shorts, blue undershirt, and blue flip flops.

There are two suspects. Rasha Honors, a black male, 27 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes and Rex Honors, a black male, 31 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, black hair, and brown eyes.

The suspect vehicle is a white Mitusbishi Montero Sport, 1996-1999, with light tint.

Anyone with any information on this abduction is asked to call Miami-Dade Police Department at 305-418-7201 or dial 911.
