Smoky in Citrus Heights CA

Smoke from the fires are everywhere you look, so be careful doing outside activites, it is hard to breathe out there, I walked to get some exercise today and to test my leg, well I went about 20 mins before I started to get pains shooting down my back, can't give up, will try again tommorrow.

Another RESTAURANT Closing

This Place will be closing in two days, due to the fact that the high cost of supplies is killing them.
They have been around for 21 months and it is really a good place to eat, I enjoy it alot.

It is with heavy hearts and much reluctance that, unless a miracle occurs, Booyah Greenback Grille will be closing its doors Thursday afternoon June 26, 2008. We will be open for lunch and dinner Wednesday June 25th, and open for lunch only on Thursday June 26th. As it is with many small restaurants, the rising costs of food and fuel, and the general economy that is affecting everyone.

Please if you have time, stop by and see for yourself that it is worth helpjng keep this place around.

Booyah Greenback Grille is located at 8055 Greenback Lane, Citrus Heights, CA 95610 in the Greenback Square shopping center. Its about one block east of Sunrise Mall, just behind Wasabi and right next door to Elliott's Natural Foods. Look for us and drop in anytime (preferably during business hours).

When you lose a friend............

Losing a friend is not any easier then losing a family member. Yesterday we lost a friend and a coworker. He was taken in a flash, making a simple mistake however he was a good guy, great smile the world ahead of him and so much potential and now we will only have him in our hearts and minds..
So at around 11:15 AM on Madison Ave in Citrus HEights Ca we Lost Zachary Shane Curtice he was only 24 years old and he had such a BIG HEART!
I am making a tshirt and all proceeds will go to the family of Zachary Curtice.

Missing Child in Citrus HEights Ca (11/13/07)

Ok yesterday around 4PM our area was surrounded with police, helicopters and you name it. A child was abducted.......

a 11 year old girl was pulled into a car with two hispanic men, however no one knows who this girl is or where she lives.

NO one has reproted her missing and as of right now no missing persons report has been filed.

So who was this 11 year old girl? why has she not been reported missing from her parent's yet?

there are many reasons why they may have not reported her missing..

The apartment complex that this happened in front of is filled with many hispanic families and whether or not they are legal to be here really does not matter right now.

The person who brought this girl and her family across the border may be sending them a message if they have not paid all of the money they owe.

She may be traded in the white slave market and if that happens she will never be heard of again... People like to turn their heads about the white slave trade however it is very much alive and still going on today.

The details of this abduction are a bit to detailed for people not to know who this child is that was forced into that car..

Details right down to a necklace she was wearing..however no one knows the child and have never seen her around before???

I only hope that if anyone really knows who this child is will step up and be brave enough to help her.
